Hello, lovely people!
You know, when it comes to competitions, I'm pretty lucky to say I've won a few in my time. From winning lip smackers when I was in primary school to a Samsung Galaxy Tablet in Year 10, its safe to say I have the luck of the Irish... but I'm not Irish!
It was Tuesday morning in my business studies class where I checked my Instagram to find a message from Topshop Australia saying that I won their competition to win a Personal Shopping Experience with Sarah Ellen. Holy crap... I thought I was dreaming, but when I replied to confirm my availability, the dream came true. I was going into the city with Klimentina (who I had chosen to come with me) to meet Sarah Ellen and receive a $250 Topshop voucher!
Thursday came and we arrived at the Sydney CBD Topshop Store, eager to meet Sarah and shop the night away! We walked into the Personal Shopping suite to find Sarah Ellen sitting there waiting for us. We greeted each other, complimented each others outfits and snacked on a cupcake each whilst we got to know one another and then stepped foot into 3 levels of shopping heaven. With Sarah's help, I had armfuls and armfuls of things that I wanted to try on, her tips were so helpful for styling! We were also the first people to be featured on Topshop's new Snapchat account (which you should go follow- topshop_au), shopping away with Sarah.
We then went back to the suite where we spent the rest of the night trying on our goodies and receiving feedback on our outfits from Sarah Ellen and the Topshop team! The first outfit I tried on (which be featured in an upcoming outfit post) everyone loved! So I bought it! It was a denim pinafore, black heeled boots and a striped button up top, which evidently all go really well together!
As our purchases were being put through, we got to have a few pic with Sarah and talked a bit more! She's so amazing and incredibly relatable! Her style is so perfect too! She's someone I've looked up to since I started blogging and love on Neighbours and to actually meet her was a dream come true!
Thankyou so much to Topshop for choosing me as the winner and to Sarah Ellen for being so so kind to me and for your amazing fashion tips! It was the best night ever and I will never forget it!
