Much love,
Hello, lovely people!
Seeing as you all enjoyed part 1 to my attempt at copying Sarah Ellen's Instagram for a week, here is part 2!
1. 12/5/2016
I'm wearing: Slip Dress- Modella Clothing, Jacket- Supre.
Score: 8/10
This pose was so easy to recreate as well as the outfit... my jacket is almost identical! The only differences would be the background and my hair length!
2. 30/11/2015
I'm wearing: Shirt- Cotton On, Shorts- Piping Hot c/o Target.
Score: 7/10
Once again, the background is a let down but this pic was so fun to recreate. I loved the comfy outfit and munching on my fav snack to get the perfect shot. I scored this one lower than the previous one as the background was so detailed in Sarah's pic as well as the top and food being different. But overall, I still think I did a really good job.
3. 22/8/2016
I'm wearing: Slip Dress- Cotton On, Sunglasses- Supre.
Score: 9/10
This one has to be my absolute favourite recreation of Sarah's. I don't mean to toot my own horn by I did an awesome job with this one. The pose, the outfit and facial expressions for almost perfect! I also think this is also quite a pretty photo of me. Only thing again would be the background.
Hope you enjoyed this little series of blog posts- let me know who I should recreate next!
Much love,

Much love,
Hello, lovely people!
Another week means another post, so without further ado, lets get right into the 2018 Awards Season Red Carpet Fashion Recap!
The Red Carpet Queen
1. Oscars in Chanel, 2. Critics' Choice in Chanel, 3. Screen Actors Guild in Miu Miu.
All hail Miss Margot Robbie! Australia's it-girl has absolutely killed it on this year's red carpet scene. The Oscar nominee and new house ambassador for Chanel stunned in just about everything... frills, stripes, feathers, you name it, she wore it and looked absolutely stunning in it! My personal favourite is her SAG's look; that blush-toned halter gown with feathers was like a breath of fresh air on the red carpet. I can't wait to see what she brings to the table as Chanel's latest ambassador.
The Quirky- Cool Girl
1. Screen Actors Guild in Calvin Klein, 2. Golden Globes in Calvin Klein.
Because no one else could rock space buns and Converse on a red carpet. Millie Bobby Brown has graced us all with her youthful but super fashionable style this season, rocking two amazing Calvin Klein numbers. Her pink SAG's look was everything! The pink hi-lo dress, the space buns, and the Chuck Taylors were what dreams are made of. She's definitely continuing to be the fashion darling to watch.
The Model Squad
1. Elsa Hosk at Vanity Fair Oscars Party in Alberta Ferretti, 2. Kendall Jenner at Globes in Giambattista Valli , 3. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at Vanity Fair Oscars Party in Ralph & Russo.
So many of the industry's top models brought their A-game to the red carpet, especially the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. Kendall Jenner stunned at her first Golden Globes in an extravagant black tulle gown, but Rosie was a breath of fresh air in a mint green Ralph & Russo number! My personal favourite though has to be ultimate babe Elsa Hosk in custom Alberta Ferretti, I mean, come on... can you look any better?! Its like old Hollywood glam meets sexy and sophisticated Victoria Secret model.
Small Screen Darlings
1. Erin Lim at Oscars in Maria Lucia Hohan, 2. Sarah Hyland at Critics Choice in Naeem Khan, 3. Mandy Moore at Screen Actor's Guild in Ralph Lauren.
In layers of tulle and sexy sequins, the stars of the small screen look liked a million bucks this season. Standouts for me included Erin Lim stunning in blush tones, Sarah Hyland looking like the most elegant ballerina in a monochramtic number and Mandy Moore stealing the SAG's in this amazing electric-blue slip dress; she has to be my fav of the entire SAG red carpet!!
Movie Mega-Stars
1. Alicia Vikander at Globes in Louis Vuitton, 2. Jennifer Lawerence at Oscars in Versace, 3. Jessica Biel at Critics Choice in Oscar De La Renta, 4. Brie Larson at Screen Actors Guild in Gucci.
The queens of the big screen rocked the red carpet in colourful frocks with sequins and sheer aspects. Alicia Vikander looked amazing in her ode to the Me Too movement. Brie Larson and J-Law wowed in stunning sequins, but the real show-stopper came from Jessica Biel in a gorgeous Oscar De La Renta dress with pops of red and pink with sheer panels. Only thing I would have loved was if she wore black instead of white underneath, the white is so obvious! Other than, she was a personal favourite of mine for the Critics Choice!
Music's Risk-taker
1. Grammys in Alexandre Vauthier
I'm going to be super honest right now. Hailee Steinfeld's look from this year's Grammys was the only one I actually liked from the Grammys red carpet! The white gown with the thigh high slit stunned with simplicity amongst out-there looks by other musicians. The purple boots were the perfect accessory, adding an edgy and cool vibe to what could have been a very simple look. Claps for Hailee!
What did you think? Who did you love throughout awards season?
Much love,
Hello, lovely people!
I've been seeing so much of this 'copying a celeb's instagram' over YouTube and thought it was such fun idea for me to do on my blog.
When thinking of who to copy for a week, it was a no-brainer coming up with the first person I'm recreating... Sarah Ellen. Her candid style shots and fun selfies make for an impeccable Instagram feed, something I found so fun recreating (and also a little tricky at times!)
I recreated six of her photos (part 1 this week, part 2 next week), and gave myself a score out 10 for each picture! Comment on my latest Instagram post to share your thoughts on how I did, and who I should copy next? Im thinking some well known models, my favourite Youtubers and the stunning Jess Conte... let me know your thoughts and who you'd love to see!
1. 8/4/2017
I'm wearing: Top- Jay Jays, Jacket- Supre, Jeans- Cotton On, Choker- Colette by Colette Hayman, Necklace- Forever 21.
Score: 8/10
I loved recreating this one- its such a classic denim on denim look! The only thing I would have changed would be the angle in which the pic was taken and actually wearing a plain white singlet.
2. 30/11/2015
I'm wearing: Crop top- Lorna Jane, Shorts- Best & Less, Magazine- Instyle
Score: 9/10
This one was super easy to recreate! Definetely the easiest of the lot- a fun shot with easy clothes to copy. I would have changed to a black crop top and had different bedding... but still a great recreation!
3. 6/1/2018
I'm wearing: Crop top- Lorna Jane, Overalls- Cotton On, Necklace- Forever 21.
Score- 7/10
This one was a little tricky. Trying to recreate her (perfect) face and pose was somewhat difficult.. but we got there in the end! If I would have pushed my hair out of my face a little more and had a less serious facial expression, it would have been so good!!
Tune in next week to see part 2 of these pictures, Im so happy with how they turned out!
Much love,
